Kayla received her bachelor's degree in Religious Studies with a double minor in Community Service Studies and Spanish from DePaul University. Kayla's experience includes volunteering at summer camps and nonprofit organizations assisting individuals with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities. Since a young age, Kayla's father instilled in her the value of forming opportunities and bonds with those with special needs. In her free time, Kayla loves to spend time with her family, her sister’s two dogs, writing poetry, makeup artistry, and finding new shows to watch on Netflix. Kayla is most passionate about equal opportunities being formed and provided to under-served communities.
